Sunday Day 1 Transfer arrival Amman airport

City Tour of Amman – (2hrs) Tour starts with a visit to the Citadel, Folklore museum and the Roman theatre. Continue for a walk in the old down town area of the city through the Bazaars and gold market. Transfer back to your hotel.

Jerash – (5hrs) Transfer north to visit the Graeco-Roman city of Jerash, one of the most preserved in the Middle East. Transfer back to Amman.

Tuesday Day 3 image099fff.jpg Petra – Full day from Amman (10hrs) Transfer to Petra via the desert highway for a full day visit of the city. The visit of the ancient Nabatean Capital starts on horseback, followed by a walk through the Siq, a long narrow fissure between two overhanging cliffs. The tour then proceeds to gradually unfold the mysteries of the Red Rose City with its spectacular treasury, Royal Tombs, burial chambers and high places of sacrifice. Transfer back to the hotel in Amman.
Wednesday  Day 4 image100fff.jpg The Desert Castles & Azraq Oasis- (5hrs) Visit of several Islamic medieval desert castles that offer a number of fortresses with fresco art and zodiac dome. You will visit Qasr Amra from the Umayyads era, Qasr Kharaneh a Roman then Umayyed fortress built and completed in 710 AD, and Qaser Azraq where T. E Lawrence of Arabia had his headquarters.
Thursday Day  5 image101fff.jpg Madaba, Mt. Nebo & Dead Sea – (8hrs) Visit of Madaba, also known as the "City of Mosaics". Visit St. George's Church to see the oldest mosaic map of the Holy Land, which covers what is now Jordan, Israel, Lebanon, and Egypt. Continue to visit Mt. Nebo where Moses is thought to be buried and depart to the Dead Sea the lowest point on the surface of earth for a swim in its warm salty waters. Free time and transfer back to your hotel in Amman.
Friday Day  6 Transfer departure Amman airport
